    good article.
Some very valid points if possible i wouldnt mind helping with the trip to scotland and having an input 🙂
I have been guilty about dropping out last minute due to water levels. gut always willing to pay the accommodation fee if it leaves the club out of pocket. I have said this to WFCC on both of their previous dart trips.

Thanks for putting your name forward. The stumbling block Chucky is the fact that only a grade 2 trip will be suitable for the paddlers at the club. I would assume you will want to push for a higher grade. Now that creates problems. How to keep everyone happy.

Glanced at the checklist and prevents any confusion between members, everyone will know where they stand and helps to remind us just in case we forget anything. Thanks for doing the research.

Had a glance at the brief Timbo, and it makes perfect sense. A little tweaking to suit the Clubs personal requirements and the “Job is a gud Un”‘. Every one is given an equal opportunity to engage they just need to plan ahead and commit. 😉

Cheers Nige. They say the best ideas are normally stolen! I like the bit where it says you will not keep everyone happy!

It is a very good checklist Tim. I am sure we can adapt it to suit our membership.

One thing for all to remember is item 11. Members only on the trips. Non members are not covered by our insurance.

Your right Tim, “you can please some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time” !
Very valid point Mick, regarding insurance, I believe the Club BCU cover is only valid to fully paid up members. Happy days 😉
